Jessica Lillie joins Team MCV to expand donor and community relationships

(BILLINGS, Mont.) – Today, Montana Conservation Voters and the MCV Education Fund announced the hiring of Jessica Lillie of Billings as Development Director.

Montana-born and raised, Lillie has over 12 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Montana. After six years working in Washington D.C., including in the personal office of U.S. Senator Max Baucus, she returned to Montana. She joins MCV from the US-Mexico Foundation for Science, where she served as Executive Director and Washington Liaison.

“We’re very excited to have someone with Jessica’s experience and vision joining the Team MCV,” said MCV Executive Director Whitney Tawney. “We’re proud to bring her talent back home, helping us protect Montana as the Last Best Place in perpetuity.”

As MCV’s Development Director, Lillie will serve as MCV’s lead fundraiser, growing, cultivating, sustaining and developing robust relationships with MCV’s donor network to significantly increase MCV’s overall impact.

“Montana is where I’m from but it’s also where I chose to make my home and raise my family with my husband Chad,” said Lillie. “I’m very excited to be working for an organization that is so passionate and effective when it comes to protecting Montana for future generations. I want our two sons to have the same experience I had, with plentiful access to healthy public lands. It’s one of the things that makes Montana so special.”

Lillie is based in Billings, where she enjoys floating Montana’s beautiful rivers, and spending time outside with her husband and children. Contact her at jessica@mtvoters.org.
