Hotlists

The MCV Education Fund identifies and determines legislative priorities in collaboration with the Conservation Working Group, a coalition of organizations with staff working in the Montana Legislature. 

The MCV Education Fund produces educational materials for elected lawmakers and the public throughout the session, including the weekly legislative “Hotlist.” The Hotlists summarize priority legislation, provide contact information for the lead lobbyist working on a bill, and clearly identify the Working Group’s position on the legislation. The MCV Education Fund distributes the Hotlist to legislators, to the Governor’s office, and to the public.  

We deeply appreciate the members of the Working Group and thank them for their policy expertise and continued collaboration: Clark Fork Coalition, Montana Audubon, Montana Environmental Information Center, Montana Renewable Energy Association, Montana Wildlife Federation, Northern Plains Resource Council, and Wild Montana.
